Both Music Production and Music Performance specialisations will require you to take up core modules, which are key fundamentals in the music industry. These modules include Melody Writing, Studio Techniques, Music Business and Marketing Essentials and others.

The Diploma in Songwriting and Music Performance consists of modules that focus more on developing students who want to build a career being a performing artist, while the Diploma in Songwriting and Music Production focuses on technical skills required by a modern day music producer.

You can find out more about the course modules here or contact our course advisor at peiyi@tsmcollege.edu.sg for more information!

The Songwriter Music College offers 1-year full-time and 2-year part-time courses. Our part-time classes will be conducted in the evenings from 7-10pm, usually once or twice a week. On rare occasions or due to unforeseen circumstances, classes may be held on Saturday mornings.

We believe education should never be hindered by financial reasons and hence we have various ways to aid students. School fees are collected via instalments, which means that you need not pay the entire fee at one go. Please send in an email to peiyi@tsmcollege.edu.sg to for more information on the instalment details.

Students are also able to take up the DBS/POSB Study Assist loan. For more details, click here.

The schedule will be based on the number of modules you need to attend each term. For full-time studies, it will mainly be about 3-4 modules. For part-time studies, it will be 1-2 modules per term. We will be able to share the schedule with you in more detail when you come for our free studio tour.
